Our billing system will send you an email 7 days in advance notifying users that an invoice has been automatically generated. If the customer in question does not pay their bill within the 7 days notice their website in question will become suspended automatically.

If within 14 days of suspension if no payment is received then the account in question will be deleted and all data will be lost. We will in, no way be responsible for loss of data if you do not keep your billing up to date.

We will also not be responsible for keeping your account information up to date with a personal email address that we “Feale IT” can contact you with invoices and information about your website. Please make sure that you contact us to make sure your information is correct.

Jamie from Feale IT here, I’d first like to wish everyone a Happy New Year and I hope everyone had a good christmas. We did!

Just a few little updates:

- Alot of PC’s have been hit with a virus caused by advertisements on Facebook, beware. If you need any viral assistance or would like to make sure you are clean contact us.

Western Digital has had a major plant flood. Since western digital owns around 70% of all the harddrives which are sold all harddrive prices are shot up and we are about to see a HDD shortage till February, Due to this all computer/laptop and HDD prices have risen around 35 – 50%
Feale IT also had to do this.

Sorry I haven’t been posting a lot lately I have been very caught up with work. Thanks for the support of the Feale IT blog, if you guys keep liking I will keep posting

Right back to current events. Some issues have been brought back to us by customers looking for a lot of help.

The worst is with an issue of a fake phone call from either: Microsoft, Dell, Norton and more well known computer brands. A lot of people have given the people who make these fake calls their bank details, their credit card information and the worst case their Identity.

Please be aware that Microsoft, Dell, Norton will never ever call you about your computer.

If you think its a legit call watch out for the signs and use these tips to get rid of them:

1) If they ask that your computer is switched on tell them that your computer is at a repair store at the moment.

2) If they strangely know the brand of your laptop don’t worry, its coincidence most of the time. Unless of course you have given out details of your laptop to a company, no one can really have that information

3) If they ask for credit card or bank details for a bit of fun give the phone to a younger child and tell them to say I ‘m 12 do you expect me to have a credit card or a bank account. Then hang up.

Just be aware they are catching at least 5 people a day around the county we operate in, We really don’t want to see anyone else caught out. Never give your card details out to any person on the phone.

Away from the fraud topic, quick tip: A PC is only ever fast if its clean. Physically and Virtually.

Steve jobs has died at the age of 56 of pancreatic cancer. Chairman, Co-Founder and former C.E.O. of Apple and the creator of Great everyday gadgets that have become part of our everyday lives like the Ipod, Iphone and Ipad (not the Mac, Macs suck) and have changed the way we will think about technology forever.

Steve jobs has been battling Pancreatic cancer for several years and several years ago received a liver transplant. In August, Steve Jobs stepped down as CEO, handing the reins to Tim Cook.

His family, in a separate statement, said Steve Jobs “died peacefully today surrounded by his family…We know many of you will mourn with us, and we ask that you respect our privacy during our time of grief.”

The Staff here at Feale IT are deeply saddened by this news and our condolences go out to his wife Lauren and four children.

It seems that microsoft is attempting to make Windows Live Hotmail cool again. Love to see how that turns out for them.

So for the first post of this morning, I’d like to introduce myself. My name is Jamie and I handle all the website work at Feale IT. I also work do call outs and work with a lot of the computers that come in and out at Feale IT. (On to the latest news)

The Latest:

- The best computers to buy? Now personally I myself would never recommend a dell. It can be hit and miss with dells. Acer’s seem to be boosting themselves back in to the market with a big business change. I’d recommend acer if you budget is around the 400 mark. As for any other computers we build computers ourselves! We select the best parts and build your computer by hand if wanted. (Yes we also can build pretty stable gaming overclocked PC’s if wanted (for all you gaming fanatics out there!))

- Facebook becoming paid for (I’m going to lose my account)? No is the simple answer. There is not a paid for facebook ever coming out, You will never have to stand on a table naked waiting for mark zuckahberg to save your account. Don’t believe anything of it. Facebook is not becoming paid and never will. How do I know this? Number 1 fact. Facebook’s advertising within games, facebook it self etc, earns millions every week. It does not need any other form of money.

- A real annoyance lately is something we code name “The search engine virus” It’s not easy to remove. The virus would show a 404 error on the search engine. Many of the search engine sites that would be effected would be google.com bing.com yahoo.com

- We have seen a widespread issue regarding a fake antivirus ploy. DO NOT! under any circumstances give out any credit card details or other bank information to pay for the viruses it detects to be removed. (Some people have done this and have been affected by this pretty badly) An antivirus will never just ask for your credit card details to remove a virus.  Below is a list of all the fake antivirus’s we have come across.
